Ever since I was a little girl, I enjoyed flipping through the pages of my Grandma's art books. Learning how to create art with weight and beauty by studying artists who came before me. As I was strolling through the art section in the Library last week, I found the book Wild Life Painting Step by Step by Patrick Seslar.
I'm enjoyed flipping through the artwork and seeing the curration of such beautiful examples nature art.
I loved the interplay of negative space and the subject in the pastel artwork titled High Noon by Paul Bosman. So much so, I decided to recreate the piece as a gouache study. Art deserves to be practiced, and this was a fun piece to work on :)
